Yeah, I think I saw the new Smithwick's branding somewhere (think it was in a newspaper my mother brought over in October), complete with big shiny new tap/font. I kinda liked it.

Did you see how they mentioned about the long brewing tradition in Kilkenny all over the new taps? The way they did in the old taps before they decided to shut down the kilkenny brewery

I remember shaking my head at most of the wording, but liked the logo and the shininess. I'm a sucker for shiny things...

I'd imagine that the average drinker was searching for his Guinness in that taste test, it's what they know, it's not all that challenging, and truth be told, I quite like it myself. There are others that are better, but Guinness certainly isn't the worst national drink out there.

None were on cask. I presume Molly's is Nitro[/url:2xc336pl]. I am pretty sure all the rest are.
