I go to Boston about once a year with work, and the tap selection for IPA's has really grown in the last couple of years. CTbeerguy has you covered with all the good spots. Two of my favourite local beers are green monster IPA by Wachusett Brewing Company, which you will even get at red sox games, so is pretty much everywhere, and Hoponius Union by Jack's Abbey, which although technically is a lager, seems to me like a really decent hoppy ale. If you are into Sports, and are heading out to Gillette stadium, the main bar at the top of the steps now has a really good selection of beer also.
