Really? Is 800l pretty large? What thw average micro brewery doing here in ireland doea anyone know?[/quote:48n6ksw8]

Hooker is currently still 650l batches so an 800l batch is a little bigger. That said, it's down to the FV size as hooker probably puts a few batches in to a FV.

Now, to bring the list back:

Barrelhead Red Ale is now in O'Neill's. I had it on Wednesday and it was quite nice! What's the story with them? Are they still brewing in other breweries? Any idea if they are setting up their own one?

Rob from Barrelhead is the brewer for JW Sweetman, so recent Barrelhead beers are JWS rebadges. He does have plans to set up his own brewery but I haven't heard that they're anything more than plans at the moment. It would be a shame to lose him from Sweetman's.

That explains why the beer was so nice! <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D --> Would really be a shame to lose him from Sweetmans, hopefully he'll just keep doing rebadges like this!
