Buggery.

Just the Friday. At a wedding on Sat and the after party on Sunday. I might head up for a couple of hours. I'll give them a shout and see what the story is. They were very nice the last time I was up there.

I was thinking about bringing some beers for the comp but two batches haven't cleared at all so I don't think they will be up to competition unless I enter them as wheat beers <!-- s:roll: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_rolleyes.gif" alt="" title="Rolling Eyes" /><!-- s:roll: -->

Anyone know what breweries will be attending?

I had a chat with the one of the lads and he said he'd email me back with more details of the homebrew contest. They may be willing to waive you having to be there to accept your prize and also allow you to bring your bottles along on the day. If you're around this weekend and have a beer that you want to enter I can bring them up for you. Here's[/url:3mzt7oi5] the previous thread on the compeition for those who may have missed it.

Will there likely be any other entrants except for the ICB contingent? Would be a fun added extra if it was to go ahead, maybe if they opened it up to more styles of beer and relaxed the rule of having to be present they might get a bigger take up.

Agreed if there are only a couple of entries it's not worth bringing anything along.

So they'll generally have a tap or two from the likes of Carlow, MM, Porterhouse, Whitewater -- Hooker was there in 2007 -- but most of them will be English, tending towards the northern end of the country: Abbeydale, Banktop, Burton Bridge, Titanic etc.
