Heading on a very brief trip to Copenhagen next month, will only be there for a few hours. Anyone have one particular beer or pub that I should definitely check out while there?

Depending on where you are, BrewPub is a good centrally-located, er, brewpub (Adeptus reviews it here[/url:sjot1nky]), but if you can get to Nørrebro do. Look out for bottled Nørrebro in other bars and shops, likewise Mikkeller and Amager beers. Ølbutikken is the best beer shop in the city, if you can take beer back with you.

Unless you really don't have time to go elsewhere, Apollo and Vesterbro brewpubs can be skipped.

All locations can be found on BeerMapping[/url:sjot1nky].

I've been to Norrebro and liked it, hence my name!!
Yeah its a modern place with lovely beers. Try and get to a supermarket to purchase some take aways too, but time it wisely cos opening times in Denmark are s**t, I put it off cos i was going out on the town in Copenhagen, so I got stung at airport on way home for one Norrebro bottle i think it was about 9euro!! Anyway Denmark ain't cheap.. enjoy

Sounds good. It'll just be a few hours in Copenhagen as I am spending a week in Oslo with the in-laws, but we are breaking it up with a trip on the booze ferry to Denmark. Overnight there then spend a day in Copenhagen and overnight back. Depending on the choice of beer available on the ferry I think I might be stocking up in Denmark for the return trip.

I really enjoyed the beers at BrewPub København that TBN links to above. Apollo[/url:2k91lvzu] can definitely be skipped!

I was sorry I didn't have more time there, as there seems to be lots of beer tourism spots to cover <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

Plenty of good drinking to be had in Oslo, too. Though the guide I wrote for ICB is fairly out of date at this stage. There's a good range and what passes for value in Norway at the larger city centre Vinmonopolets, and there's also this place[/url:38qw03mk].
