Dungarvan/Ring is the area I had been looking at so thanks for the detailed information.

I have seen the big bottle practice in Clare but have yet to give it a try. I'll have to do it this time.

By the way, I am in California. And I updated by profile.

The large bottle off the shelf seems like a strange practice, but I have come to think of it as the best way to drink Guinness.
The nitrogen in the draught version kills too much of the flavour, as does chilling it.
