oharas btls just under €2 mark per btl and various ales old speckeld hen,london pride ect also on sale in blbriggan (and i assume everywhere else) at the minute.

obviously supporting local off licences stocking craft beer is a much better idea and somthing i would pay more to do but there is no off licence selling irish craft beer in balbriggan and perhaps if tesco see there is a market for it they may stock more varities of irish beer and make it more accessable to more consumers.

Superquinn also doing a deal on 'beers of the world' incl irish craft beers at 6 for €12.00.

I actually have a soft spot for superquinn myself as they do use lots of small irish suppliers (albeit through musgrave's now)that other supermarkets wouldn't touch.

Expect to see American Craft Beers appearing in Tesco soon. This article appeared in the Guardian back in August, have been keeping an eye on the shelves since. Might take a while to filter through here

I wouldn't be expecting them in Tesco here.

Tesco already have a load of stuff in the UK, including their own label Double IPA made by Brewdog, which doesn't show up here.

I think Tesco have the perception that 99% of the market here is for slabs of Fosters etc.

Though that's not to say our market for speciality beer isn't growing, but we're still a long way from the UK in this regard.
