The Wessex Beer and Great British Cheese Festivals 2008 17 years 10 months ago #1

Ichiban (Nick) makes two festivals seem like one big one[/url:1xit325i]: The Wessex Beer Festival, now in its second year, and the Great British Cheese Festival.

A match made in heaven, and a story well told.

Great article. Sounds like two great festivals. I'm particularly jealous of the cheese festival. After reading this I have to go! Mead and blue cheese, sounds fantastic.

The beer festival sounds like it might be having trouble taking off. The cheese festival sounds great though! All that cheese and 20 cask ales with which to wash it down! Mmmm.

I think going through the article and replacing every occurrence of the word "keg" with the word "cask" might be a good idea though. You don't want CAMRA to declare a fatwa on you.

I really enjoyed this article. And I especially like the quoted ratio of kegs to punters <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->
