I had an Arthur's day well spent. I secured CAMRA style vouchers for Beoir members in all cottage group pubs for use on Galway Bay beers.

So €10 worth of .50c vouchers will be arranged and distributed to Beoir members, though this will take a few weeks to put together so bear with us on this one.

Unfortunately (or perhaps not) we lack a nationwide chain so only Galway and Dublin members will benefit at the moment, or those visiting both places. As the cottage group grows, which I expect they will, this will provide more beoir members with the benefit.

I went into the Black Sheep today with a vague recollection of this post and proudly presented my Beoir card and asked for my discount only to be met with blank stares. To be fair the bar staff did go and find a manager who also had no idea what I was on about. Shame I hadn't really remembered that this was going to be a CAMRA style scheme with a limited number of vouchers or I wouldn't have made such a total dick of myself.

Any idea when I can expect my vouchers? I know Beoir has my address, because my membership card came in the post.
