Metalman releasing a Zwickel/Kellerbier.

[quote:2vmxuutn]Here's a sneak peek at our latest beer, Zwickel, a 5.3% unfiltered lager which the lads will be packaging in the next few days. Also known as Kellerbier, Zwickel is a style you might see in southern Germany and Austria, which traditionally would have been served directly from wooden casks in the pub cellar. We've tried to keep it true to style by using Magnum, Tettnang and Perle hops from the German Hallertau, plus Munich and Vienna malts to give bready notes and a deep golden hue. It's *really* smooth with some lovely floral hop aromas - think sunny afternoon in a shady beer garden, bratwurst on the grill and a brass band playing oompah music in the background....watch this space for details of stockists in the next few weeks![/quote:2vmxuutn]

First of it's kind in Ireland?

Under that label, perhaps. But I'd put the Munster Brewery lagers as very much in that category.

Dungarvan's latest seasonal is a Thai Wit[/url:712ucmqy].

Big fan of Thai food and flavours so would be interested to hear reviews if anyone gets a chance to try it
