After years of campaigning and pre-budget submissions, Labour have taken note and are introducing a bill that will see breweries allowed to sell their own beer.
This is a major step forward for the industry and consumer alike.

Great stuff and nothing too radical either so hopefully won't ruffle too many feathers (famous last words).

Also, good to see it includes spirits and ciders as well. Although perhaps there is some slight irony in this line...

Their bill has left out the wine makers in Ireland!

6pm is very limiting. Rules out working people Mon-Fri and holding any sort of festival. 10pm would be a lot better.

So breweries will be allowed serve beer at 10am on a Sunday, but a pub cant?
