I didn't know Wetherspoons had branches in the North. I'm not a fan of their pubs but their selection of ales is very good. When does this festival run to? I'll be in London on the weekend of the 28th.

I must remember to ask about the polypins before I have a few beers.

it's actually a bit later than i thought 23rd April, they'll have these 1/3 pint tasting glasses so you can try 3 ales for the price of a pint, nice idea.not a huge fan of the pubs but they always have good ales and they seem to promote them a bit too.

I can grab you some polypins if you like. I'm heading down with two mates and there should be room in the car. Are you in Dublin?

that would be great, yes i'm in dublin work just off molesworth street, live in rathfarnham. i'm away myself for the weekend but could pick them up from you next tuesday? thanks a lot.

any luck? how was the festival? were you blown away by any of the brews? did you get to try the galway hooker, i love that beer.
