Galway Bay Brewery 14 years 6 months ago #1

I see where the Bay Brewery (of Oslo microbrewery fame) are relaunching as a "new" brewery called Galway Bay Brewery with three new brews; Stormy Port (original Irish porter), Bay Ale (now an "Irish Red Ale"), and looks like one called "Strange Brew" not sure what that one is but I thought they were promising a pale ale.

Any one know? I wonder how Galway Hooker brewery view the name change?

Looks like the Holy Trinity- A stout, a red and a pale ale.

Yeah, the third one is an IPA according to Taram in The Salt House.

Thanks for that! I couldn't figure out if "Strange Brew" meant an edgy seasonal rotation or if it was actually the name of a specific beer.

This is a much better line up. I'd way rather have another porter than that lager.

The porter had been rumored for a while and I'm SO glad to hear that this one isn't just another rumor.

Had a free sample of their porter last week. It was excellent. Full bodied, roasty, coffee flavours. Excellent.
