Summer Beers 14 years 1 week ago #1

With the present spell of good weather,I'm thinking of getting in some nice summer beers. I like Goose Island and Sierra Nevada Summertime. I also think O'Hara's Curim suits the warm weather! Anybody have any good suggestions? Don't mind about style or Country of Origin!

Jarl, nice and hoppy and pretty low in alcohol, makes a great session beer.

Would second the Jarl suggestion but also try Avalanche from the same brewer - top stuff

Jarl. It has summer written all over it. Also a superb curry accompaniment.

I tried "Hurrican Jack" from Fynes Ales last week and thought it was terrific.

Hopeing to pick up another bottle or two for later

I love those Fyne ales beers.
Had a bottle of avalanche last night out of the fridge - which I dont often do - lovely!!

Dont think i've tried jarl - although ive tried most of the others.
You can get 4 for 10 euro in eurospar.

Also, ironically enough - i reckoon howling gale would make a nice sup on a scorching day. Only had it a couple of times - i dont buy it in the off-license as i dont think thos little bottles are good enough value.
