That would be popular comedian Adam Hills. He used to live in Dublin and do many gigs. He's also a festival regular at the Cat Laughs.

This reminds me of the Ryanair calender debate and as Mick O'Leary said, you can pick up any number of newspapers, magazines or catalogues and see woman (and men) wearing next to nothing. When I saw on the 8Degrees Facebook that there was a contentious image I was expecting girls in swimwear dousing each other in beer. Those 2 girls in the photo above are wearing loads in comparison to most ads!

I honestly think that some people out there take near delight in being "offended". /rant

As Andrew said, I'd be more worried about the over "paddification" of the event but considering the time of year it's on you can't really blame them. I'm sure the event itself will be grand.

Women who complain about those ads being sexist are actually being homophobic themselves as they don't take into account that some women may actually like the ads. <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->

I have the full photo set now. Thank god they didn't go with the topless shots with the shamrock pasties...

This kind of debate will still be going on 100 years from now, what ever the PC brigade say will not change one fact, sex sells, and non PC people (most of us),both men and women take this with a pinch of salt.[/quote:2xgmdiqt]

Really? I would think most people are PC certainly by the standards of the 70's racism, homophobia, blatant sexism are now beyond the pale to most people. You could argue that it has gone too far in certain areas but would you really want to be in the gang who are non PC people with respect to race, homophobia and women's rights? Or do you just mean you think its grand to use women in their scanties to advertise things and you disagree with the PC brigade on that one point?
