You'll just have to put that new brewing kit though it's paces Barry.

Soon Séan, soon... If I can get the copper and fittings tomorrow I may be brewing tomorrow! An IPA of course[/url:27jnm2wh]!

[size=75:27jnm2wh]And with my new boiler, which has a great thermostat, all-grain is beckoning, but don't tell anyone Anyway, that's for another thread[/size:27jnm2wh]

Punch holes in the bit of the brewery's marketing strategy which give us free beer

I was surprised at the reaction to my dish water comment. I was a bit taken aback when the barman told me TSB was good 'if you like dishwater', but didn't think the bosses would be all that bothered.

There were candid comments all round which was refreshing because there are aspects of the Porterhouse that confound and confuse beer lovers and it was great to talk about these things with the owners themselves.

Whatever people think of the porterhouse, i owe to them for educating me in the ways of true beer. the majority of my college years were spent in cramped bars serving only bud, coors and the like, until one evening we decided to go to the porto in phibsboro, i was blown away. the beer amazing, because of it i cant go back to mass produced bottle shite.
