Review: World's Best Beers 16 years 4 months ago #1

It being Christmas shopping season, I've done up a review[/url:3hycfwza] of a lovely coffee table beer book which came out a few months ago. It'd be a good present for anyone with a passing interest in world beer who wants to know more.

I know one or two people who would appreciate a book like this for Christmas. Thanks for pointer TBN.

As a matter of interest, have you any plans to bring us a book of your own? I can't think of anyone else in these here parts I'd be more interested to read on the contemporary beer scene. It would also be great to see you translate your crafty blog entries into a sustained and cohesive work. My impression is that you have, over time, developed a definite perspective on all matters beer, which could be usefully teased out in a book-length format. Add to this the fact that you have a very distinctive voice, which many of us find charming and funny, I think you could be on to a real winner. If the Irish craft brew scene really is starting to take off, it would be nice to have an articulate voice to tell the story.

Cheers Dr Jacoby, but I don't really do sustained and cohesive <!-- s:P --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" title="Razz" /><!-- s:P -->

There already is Iorwerth Griffiths's excellent little book[/url:7s2ifovy] about beer in Ireland. And I wrote the entries for the Irish craft beer in this book[/url:7s2ifovy] which is due out in a few months' time.
