Is this a project for only two or three Beoir members or is it open to all members? Would it not be a good idea to email people and let them know so they can be involved in the process. Sure there are people who have been to breweries and brew their own but what about the people that haven't but may have an interest in it? As Beoir is all about promoting Irish Craft Beer then I think it would be a good idea to involve members and let them see exactly what goes into their beers and exactly how they are made so they can enhance their appreciation for craft even more. A little inclusivity?

Open to all members! Good point though, I've put a post out on Facebook to try and bring more people into the thread anyway.

We had a good number of members (20+) at the Beoir#2 brew day at Trouble.

It's open to all, which is why it's on the [b:22xeabso]public[/b:22xeabso] forum.

It was mentioned in the recent email newsletter which all members are sent. There was a link to this very thread. Now, I'm sure some people don't get the email due to anti spam measures and the like but it was certainly sent to everyone. I just checked the statistics for that newsletter and 20% of people have actually opened it. Some might have previewed it but not opened it so that figure might be higher. In fact I noticed that your copy flags as opened so you got the email <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->

It was announced on twitter and possibly facebook, either way Thomas has just put it on facebook today.

Short of writing letters and posting them to every member, I'm not sure how much more obvious and inclusive I can make it?

Take a look at the Beoir Flickr and Youtube pages for videos and images from Beoir#1 and Beoir#2. The links are on the front page.

If you ever have any suggestions, please let us know. Beoir only works as well as its members and all members can make suggestions to improve things.

Just had a thought and I made this thread a global announcement so it will appear on all of the forum pages now.
