A couple of very nice, good value recommendations posted already. Emmet's got good taste <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="

But why not get an authentic pure pot still whiskey? Its the signature Irish whiskey style but surprisingly few Irish whiskey's these days are the real deal, in terms of being pure pot still(despite what the label says).
Redbreast is the one to go for, the 12 year old is good value and can be found in lots of places (Tescos have it), but if you want to push the spend a little closer to your budget limit and get something a little bit more exclusive then the Redbreast 15 year old is yer only man!
