Pretty interesting, though sad to say I haven't been into any of them!

Hollands in Bray gets a shout out in the comments as well as a few others. Haven't checked yet but are any of them on our list?

With the like Doolin and Dingle on the list I can't help but think this is a list of Oirish pubs for tourists.

My favourite coastal pub is the Vic in Tramore which I remember as having a great reputation in the Waterford area, but it's not on the list. Not sure if I've ever been in Rockett's... If I was I don't remember it.

Any time I've been in the Bloody Stream it's been like something out of Dante.

"Abandon all hope ye who enter here."

There are several places where that should be above the door alright.

Just confirms that the unique attraction of Irish pubs is not the drink products but the intangible product that is served - aka "the craic".

I heard only the other day that Rocketts has closed down. Its a bit off the beaten track a few miles out from Tramore along the coast. Popular for nights out with the lads for ribs and crubeens to (attempt to) stave off the effects of alcohol
