Can you post the dimensions of a "standard arse" ? I'm curious to know if mine is sub-standard.

Hmm... Without studying a representative sample, which could be socially tricky, I don't actually have the statistics to back that claim up. Put it this way though - I know I'm not exactly a small individual, but I'm not fat either, and if I'm having difficulties on those chairs an increasingly large portion of our increasingly rotund population is going to struggle too. Although I accept that it might just be a device to stop irritating customers lingering over a long lunch...

Incidentally, I hope it came through from what I wrote that I absolutely love the place and will be back again without delay - just as long as I don't have to sit on those dodgy little seats again!

So I dropped into the B&C on Tuesday last to see what i could get for take away. Had the pleasure of meeting silenus I believe, we met b4, but introduced myself this time, and my "CODENAME". I actually made a flying visit from the Coombe, where my little boy Brandon was just a few days old. So they were having some quiet time, so I took a spin into the city, cos when will I get in for a few pints again? Anyway I asked the barman for any Kolsch bottles, but there were none, didn't think they'd have Hop Head, but to my surprise they did, so I took a few home with me. Thought I'd have to go to the Porterhouse, but that saved me the bother. I actually wet the baby's head with a homebrew, and later a Hop Head. Anyway enjoy the Oktoberfest..

the cask has gone upstairs though - I nearly walked straight back out again when I went in and saw no keg on the downstairs bar!
