Recommendations for places in Kilkenny? 11 years 1 month ago #1

We will be in Kilkenny for a few days and I was wondering where we should eat. It's me, my wife and Cathal, who isn't quite 4 yet, so places where we can all have a feed, while I have a nice beer would be ideal, but I can slum it and drink wine if I have to. Beoirfinder seems to only list Paris Texas, but the directory has more places than that.

Where should we try?

O’Hara’s Brewery Corner, does pizza and other dish to.

I would second Brewery Corner. I'm pretty sure they have full menu now and would be surprised if they didn't have kids portions.

I have heard good things about Cafe Sol too but haven't visited yet.They have kids menu and craft in bottles.

BTW there's a nice play area for children hidden in the grounds of the castle.
