Sorry for the delay, I'd be inclined to go for the bigger brew at Third Barrel. A pilot batch at Rascals would be grand in normal times, but the majority of us wouldn't be able to get to the taproom and that wouldn't leave a lot of minikegs to go round (presuming they fill a few larger kegs too).

Did Third Barrel have any thoughts on recipes at all?

I agree. I think it would have to be packaged to be worthwhile.

The recipe hasn’t been discussed yet, but I agree that the Third Barrel option is best. I’ll be relying on others superior knowledge for the recipe.

Grand job. Well should we pick a style or are we going with brown ale? American or English brown?

Can ask a few of the better homebrewers to help with the recipe once we know what we want.

I thought an English brown ale would be the most appropriate -- Andrew liked them.

Happy to go with that. Coming into the autumn so it's appropriately seasonal too.
