diablo Topic Author Offline Posts: 1469	Lidl have Shepherd Neame Christmas Ale in stock. Described as: A glowing amber winter ale with a hoppy fruity nose. Crystalised winter fruits combine with festive spicy hops on a platform of smooth warming alcoholic notes, leaving a refreshing cleansing hop finish. 7% alcohol. They also have Spitfire and Bishops Finger.

I saw them in Thomas St. this morning. The price wasn't marked and it was too early to buy any but Lidl do seem to be in the sub-€2 beer market
