Not quite beer obviously, but Ulster Mead Co are setting up in Convoy, Donegal. They're planning to produce mead and herbal wines.

Nice. Is that the Old Mill premises?

Fairly certain, yep.

Old Mill kit went to Cork, not being used yet.

Caisleáin Óir bought the old Finn Valley kit and have employed myself to commission and get the brewery up and running. I've scrapped the Finn Valley cold side as it wasn't fit for purpose and have the old Arthurstown FV's and a few other bits and pieces of upgrades in place.

Revenue inspection this week and we should be up and running in a couple of weeks.

Plan is to brew primarily for the hotel initially and we have pipework going from the brew house directly to tanks in the hotel cold room.

Pilsner and Red up first with small batch specials to follow.

Errigal Brewing Co is the brand, check them on socials etc

Due to launch last weekend, but delayed briefly, is Original 7. This is the Franciscan Well brewpub's kit, run independently once more, with Shane and Paudie at the pumps, though not Peter.
