just to add to members knowledge,
The Franscian Well holds two beer festivals every year, one at Easter and the other at the October bank holiday weekend ( jazz weekend) the october one is called the october fest as the name suggest features German and Beligan beer.
But the Easter feast should interest menbers more, because it features most of the Irish micro breweries the following were there last year
Hilden,College Green,Carlow, kinsale,Porterhouse,Mssr MacGuire and Sean for you one to add to the list The U.C.C Pilot research brewery which the festival is the only chance you will get to tastle their beer.
The Well is always packed out for the festivals, but if you want to do most of the Irish Microbreweries with out travelling the country and taking weeks if you are ambitous or years in most cases, you will be able to sample most of the Irish Microbreweries Beer in one go.
P.S The Biddy Early Brewery has not been represented for the last couple of years which is a shame.
