I'm dumping this idea for a number of reasons, maybe it's an idea for the future. Sorry to anybody who planned to buy off me

Buying malt 18 years 11 months ago #14

Where are most people getting their malt at the moment?

If you're in Dublin, then Grape'n'Grain is probably the handiest; but they only deliver to Dublin. I've been getting it from the Homebrew centre in Clare. It's not listed on their website, but if you e-mail Brian he will order some in for you. It may take a couple of weeks, but €8 for 3Kgs is pretty good. Bob in Glengarriff does grain too, but I've never bought from him. After that people use the UK shops for speciality grains.

Hop and Grape[/url:25oaxdk1] have a large range of ingredient and equipment. They have a shipping rate of up to 30kg for 17 stg to Ireland. Obviously small packages can be sent by post.
