How will you be shipping the stuff?

I'm gonna use a courier for the bigger stuff and maybe An Post for any smaller orders but nothing set in concrete yet. Also anybody passing through Athlone could collect it in person saving another €10 on a 25kg sack. Sorry i was so long with my reply but i can log in on my phone in work and read the forum but i can't post

You see this is where GnG actually have an advantage, from my perspective, anyway.

Couriers are buggers to deal with. They only deliver 9-5, Monday to Friday and they won’t tell you when the are going to deliver. You are supposed to wait in for them.

I work, so I’m not at home during the day. I don’t have a car, so getting 25Kg of malt delivered to my work is no good either.

GnG will deliver it to my door on a Saturday. That is worth an extra few euro to me.

I will probably order the smaller stuff from you and get it shipped to my work, but I think I may have to continue getting my pale malt from GnG.

I can see your point Sean and to be honest up til now i hadn't even considered that, i will have a look into couriers that work Saturday but i'd imagine they are few and far between.

Just stick it on your shoulder and carry it <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) --> sure it wouldn't be a huge amount more than a crate of beer <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

Couriers usually charge a premium for Saturday deliveries.

Best of luck with your venture, I believe you're going to need it. There's a very good reason the current home brew shops have limited stocks.

Anyway, hope you get it off the ground, and I'll certainely be interested in what you have to offer.
