Had some in the B&C on Saturday night. Fantastic stuff. <!-- s8) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cool.gif" alt="8)" title="Cool" /><!-- s8) --> Had a mate over from abroad who was well impressed too.

Working the 25th so no beer that day, but may open up a Westy on the 31st...

Seems right to drink Christmas beers on Christmas:

Saison/biere de garde does well with poultry, so maybe Bellerose Noel with the turkey.

De Ranke Pere Noel for afters, and there's always room for an Anchor Christmas 2012 later on...

I have a Winter's Ale from last year also, will have that and a 75Cl bottle of Jopen's Ongelovige Thomas Barley Wine, that should do the job for me..

having it right now, lovely coffee taste but maybe a little bitter at the end.
i notice that while dungarvan bottles are bottle conditioned they seem to have little sediment yet are quite carbonated, anyone know why?
is it just the strain of yeast or is it only partially bottle carbed?

Will probably open a Westy but I have a delivery coming today from drinkstore so I might also crack open a St. Bernardus and a Brewdog Hoppy Christmas.
