Do breweries need to do more? 14 years 3 weeks ago #25

Please do not refer to me a "Bud".

I did not try to tell anyone how to run their business. If you read my posts you would see that I empathised with the problems of resources facing small business. I pointed out that using the cost of sale ie installation as a reason not to do business is an indication that the business isn't costed very well and that such costs are an accepted part of business.

I did not say that you were romantisising, I said that there was definitely a romance to brewing and selling your own beer but that it was definitely a business.

If you think that 2 publicans who sought to stock and sell Irish craft beer and who both report unsatisfactory experiences doesn't represent a PR hiccup then what does.

In my line of business sometimes the cost of sale or because of logistical reasons I will not follow up on a lead.
This is the way I chose to do business be it right or wrong.
If I dont see myself making money I'm not going to do it.
I can understand other small businesses doing the same.

I believe you may have another agenda here as all of your posts I've came across seem to be negitive, no only on this topic.

One of them is a poster on an internet forum. That could be anyone... a Diageo rep, a Heineken rep, or as it's boards.ie, a 14-year old kid in his bedroom. In fairness people can claim to be anything the want on an anonymous internet forum.

You're right. Perhaps fora should be closed?

Could you please point out all of my negative posts.

Just because I don't agree with your point of view doesn't mean that I have an agenda. Could you tell me what my agenda is?
