The impression I got was several permanent, but they didn't want to be drawn at all on what's next, or when. Realistically, I guess there'll only be more if this one pans out well.
Had this last night in the Leeson Lounge. First pint tasted ok but too low on the hop front, had a few other pints of it and it got progressively less interesting.
Be fairly sure I'd be able to pick it out against the micro versions (he says foolishly setting himself up for a fall/fail if the taste test happens).
€4.25 a pint so price wise same as guinness in that pub.

I'm struggling to think where else they could/would be prepared to go with it. A well hopped version, higher ABV version of standard Smithwicks but what else ?
Had this in my local yesterday. It had a slight hoppy flavour but was very watery in my opinion, also left a horrible after taste; after I drank it and in the morning. Not impressed at all.
I doubt it's going to go anywhere as well since barely anyone drinks Smithwicks and the name alone will be enough to turn people away from it.
