To make matters worse, a FF town councillor proposed Main St., Leixlip be renamed in honour of Arthur Guinness. I'm all on for it as long as Main St., Mullingar is renamed in honour of Michael O'Leary.

Not to stir the pot on the pricing debate, but the chatter is acting as if there's not already a local beer festival charging for beers available retail:
What were the prices like at Deveney's/Lughnasa Beer Festival last year?
Granted, it's bottled imports rather than draught domestics, so not a straight comparison. But I seem to remember piles of punters paying pub prices as well as a ticket price....
